My Inspire implant was in February of 2016. Inspire therapy has been a wonderful experience for me. My life has improved dramatically from the period of time before the implant. My wife and I have enjoyed a full life traveling extensively and doing whatever we want to do.
Interests:
My hobbies are cooking, gardening, golf, traveling and our church related activities. I spent my career in the foodservice world.
Why I chose Inspire therapy to treat my sleep apnea:
I chose the Inspire therapy after exhausting all the alternatives. I tried CPAP unsuccessfully and was rejected for dental appliances. I had been suffering with a variety of cardiac issues directly related to the severe sleep apnea issues I was experiencing.
Why am I a patient ambassador?
I am a patient ambassador for many reasons. I saw first-hand the effect that it had on my health, my marriage and my overall wellbeing. I am very passionate about talking to anyone who wants to listen to my story of this life saving therapy.
