Suzanne Hendrickson gets a good night’s sleep while using Inspire® therapy today. This has not always been the case.

Suzanne’s sleep worsened for over a decade due to her obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) symptoms.

She woke up tired and lacked energy all day. And it began to frustrate her.

Her doctor first said that severe allergies caused her sleep issues. This led to a nasal blockage removal.

But Suzanne still didn’t rest well enough to live a normal life.

“I was having a hard time functioning at work,” she said.

Suzanne also travels for work as a bridge engineer.

Reduced concentration and increased grogginess made it tough to focus. It led to multiple car accidents too.

Suzanne tried a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine and a dental device. Neither helped enough.

She then discovered Inspire therapy after several years. Suzanne qualified and received the Inspire® implant in 2020.

Today, she notices a difference since starting Inspire therapy.

“I feel a lot more energy, and I’m able to sleep well now,” she said.

She is also traveling again and even went skiing in Colorado and snorkeling in Jamaica.

“I go everywhere with it,” Suzanne said. “I only need to bring the remote and an extra set of batteries.”
