I received my Inspire implant in August of 2023 after 10+ years of struggling with CPAP. Since then, I have had a cardiac issue resolved and have eliminated/reduced dosage on several medications. I feel better now and have the rest and energy I had been missing.
Interests:
I live at the beach, so I enjoy all things beach related, such as sailing. I love to cook and share meals with family and friends. My love is my miniature dachshund Webster.
Why I chose Inspire therapy to treat my sleep apnea:
I failed CPAP miserably. When the technology came out I discussed it with my sleep lab and got referred to my ENT. Total life changer.
Why am I a patient ambassador?
I am a retired medical social worker mostly in hospitals so I consider myself an informed user. My career was spent talking to patients and families so being an Ambassador seemed like the perfect fit. The patient contact I’ve had so far has been so rewarding and fulfilling.
