How do I know if my scarring is normal?
As with any medical procedure that requires an incision, in the days following your Inspire® implant procedure you will maintain wound care on your two incisions.
Over a few weeks, these wounds will heal. While scarring and healing is unique to every individual, most patients note minimal, unbothersome scarring if wounds are cared for appropriately.
The visibility of the scars from your Inspire implant procedure will depend on your skin tone and individual healing process. Each patient will have one incision under the chin and one below the collarbone.
