Hi, my name is Ivy and I have been a happy Inspire patient since July 2011. Before Inspire, I was using CPAP, but I still could not drive long distances because I would fall asleep at traffic lights. I am thankful for the wonderful gift of Inspire. Now that I am rested, I enjoy painting, cake decorating, and reupholstering furniture.
Interests:
I volunteer at church, our hospital auxiliary and within our community. I love to be creative. Painting (not walls) is my favorite, along with sewing, reupholstering, flower arranging, and decorating. I also like to organize and plan for special events.
Why I chose Inspire therapy to treat my sleep apnea:
I am absolutely blessed to be part of the STAR clinical study. I had real issues with CPAP and was always tired.
